February Updates (Part 1).•´¸.•*´¨) ¸.•*¨

Nihao \(>_o) So as I've said before, this winter season is quite eventful, but um...first no news about the APC shirt designs yet...unless they're on facebook which I should probably check soon....Anyways I'll go down with the list of things that happened this month :)

Chinese New Year! It was on February 10th this year, but we celebrated on the 9th :3 I ate a lot of yummy food made by my dear grandma :) Miki also got a good number of red envelopes as well \(^O^)/ woot~!

So after Mika mentioned the PS Vita, I went back into playing Dynasty Warriors 5 again on my PS2 :P Somehow ended up getting my little cousin Athena into it too xD She's only eight, but that's around the time I started playing Dynasty Warriors 4 \(6_6) Apparently she was talking about it nonstop at my aunt's house (during our Chinese New Year celebration), before I got there with the game x3

National Art Honor Society Letter~

As for national Art Honors Society, I finally got inducted on February 12th~ There were a lot of pretty artworks, by the new members, on display (>_<) Which made me feel that there's still a long way for me to go...le sigh* (TT___TT) Don't get me wrong... I am kind of upset, but at the same time I'm not going to give up. Even though compared to the many amazing artists in this world, I'm kind of poop (=A=)...but hey I still have my own talent when it comes to this...I can draw in a certain way others can't and vise versa you know :) I'll just go my own pace which is "slowly but gradually" right? \(^-^) 







The candy Misaki gave me <3

Although I didn't have a a special someone for Valentine's Day, Misaki gave me a heart shaped candy~ She's so cute <3 My friend Victoria literally spazzed when Misaki gave her the candy xD We were in the gym locker room and Victoria was hiding her overly happy face in one of the long lockers to calm down xP It was just too funny of a scene x3 You know how seniors tend to find underclassmen adorable and stuff? Yeah that was her (>v<)/ Victoria was like a girl who fell in love and was covering her embarrassed face (>-<)

I don't know if your schools have this, but our school has

a science night and I went to help out...Extra credit if you show up and help out or bring food :3 I need those points for physics! Most of us in physics brought the "Varsity Physics" shirt just for fun :P I got to make a "mushroom" ...not really...it's just a reaction the made a big bubble foam thing (>v<)/ Physics Ski Trip coming soon~ Out of the bunch I'm close with in my Physics class, only me and Kendra are going Dx but at least I know some people from the other classes...can't wait until next Tuesday :D Huhu~

I'm Sorry ; n ;

I feel so horrible for totally ignoring the blog this past month. Having no internet at home is probably the biggest factor. That, and my family had to move.

I've been telling everyone that the house we were living at, it just wasn't working out so we decided to move.

I'm not going to lie to you guys.

We were evicted.

My father hasn't had a steady job for a while now, so we weren't able to pay rent for a few months(we were living in a rental house). The landlord told us "Oh, it's ok, give me the rent when you get it." So we thought we had time.

Four days before Christmas we were told that if we don't give him $1800 in three days, we were to be kicked out. Well, due to the law, we were to be given 30 days. Within that 30 days we got the money.

Our landlord denied the payment.

We had 10 days to leave.

And entire house to be cleaned out in only 10 days.

As you could probably guess, the stress in the house was over the top. Thankfully, our awesome church family helped as much as they can. They even provided us a house! It's a small house that they originally bought to make into a halfway house, but after the first residents were caught selling dope out of it they decided to use it only if a church member needed it. And so, we are living in this small but adorable house that we don't have to pay for for a while.

Oh, and now we have internet (I started writing this when we didn't have any internet) so expect more from me.

Also, expect another blog, maybe even a vlog, from me soon~ It's going to be about a youth conference I attended with my youth group on February 8th and 9th

So I've decided to try something new and create a video blogpost instead of a written one.

Mika-kitsune nya~ ♥

Hai-hai, my lovely snow angels~! It's been quite some time since my last post. About two months I believe~ Did you miss me? :3 Well, I missed you! I missed blogging, but I just couldn't find the time to do it. I've been so busy with all my after-school activities and research papers and competition projects, etc etc. But you don't want to hear me complain about my life~ ^O^ So here are all the good things that have happened: (1) I got an animal pajama sent from my granny in Korea~!! Isn't it super adorable?! I love it so much! >O< Even though I wouldn't wear it to sleep, I like wearing it around the house because it is super duper comfortable~ *O* (2) My hair is slowly but surely growing out, right now it's at about the very tops of my shoulders. Compared to how short it was when I first cut it, it's grown about 2 and a half inches! (3) In my engineering class, we had to build a bridge out of one sheet of paper and one meter of tape. The minimum weight it had to hold was one textbook, but I got mine to hold SEVEN~!!! BOOM! LIKE A BAUSSS~ *O* I'm so pro at life. pfft, just kidding just kidding. But seriously! SEVEN! (4) I just finished midterms last week!! Of course, I don't think I did very well because I feel that I didn't study enough for them, but that's my fault for procrastinating and getting distracted. le sigh~ I really can't control my anime and manga and RPG addiction. >O< It's way too hard! I've been getting back on Eden Eternal every now and then. In fact, today I finally got my Magician to level 30 and I am now an Illusionist~!! YAY! Now I'm just working on getting my Character to level 50 and my Bard to level 45 so I can become a Blade Dancer. Anyways, getting back on topic, my midterm grades are not up yet, but I'm really hoping that I got at least a 90 on most of them. Anything lower would kill my grades and GPA, not that my GPA is any good. In fact, my GPA SUCKS. But I'm not here to complain about my life. If my GPA sucks, it's because I haven't been putting in effort to work hard enough to get the grades I want. You can't have you want unless you work for it. (5) I've found a new gaming system that I really want! It's called the PS Vita and it's like a super duper, pumped-up-on-steroids, version of the original PSP (PlayStation Portable). The graphics are wonderful, the system is awesome, there are TWO joysticks, it's a touch screen, and the game selection is fantastic because you can download old PSP games onto the PS Vita! The only downside is that it is super expensive! The gaming system itself is about $250.00, but what sucks is that because it's manufactured by Sony, you need to buy the Sony brand memory card specifically made for the PS Vita in order to do anything at all with it. You can't do anything with the PS Vita until you get a memory card. But the memory cards are super expensive. the 32GB one is $100.00, the 16GB is $60.00, the 8GB is $40.00, and the 4GB is $20.00. If I get the PS Vita, I'm going to buy the 32GB because there are so many games that I want to play, and I'd much rather have excess memory space rather than too little! Because if there's too little, you'll need to delete games and apps in order to make room for new ones, or just buy another card entirely and that's just ridiculous. The 32GB should be sufficient enough for all the games I want (there are about 8 or so). According to the gaming nerds on the world wide web, the 16 GB is enough to hold 4 to 5 games plus apps and photos and music. So it's not bad, I'm just really zealous about gaming ^^;;
Anyways, that's about all for now I guess. I'm feeling really worried and anxious about my school grades and preparing for SAT IIs in May/June, but besides that I'm okay. But I really should get working on my papers and competition projects. So I guess this is it for now ^O^ Bai-bai~

APC Shirt Design.•´¸.•*´¨) ¸.•*¨

It's that time of the year again when we have to submit our T-shirt designs for the upcoming show in April :) Sadly last year Laura and my co-design did not get picked, probably cause it was too cute, which wouldn't appeal to the guys and too much ink...Le sigh* But this year we're sending in four to have the APC members vote, so hopefully one of them will get picked~ The only bad thing is the scattered votes we have amoungst our friends, so even if we have the majority of the people, we still might lose cause the votes are distributed... That's what happened last year when two of our friends ran for a position in APC and our votes we split between them, so another girl got the most votes instead :( Anyways~ Which one would you pick? Laura's making the last design so I don't have it sorry (>_<)/ Honestly when I was tracing the outlines with a sharpie pen, I was so nervous (x_x) You know...afraid to mess up and start all over again, but glad that's over xD

EDIT- Yeah...at this point I'm tired and getting lazy, so I might not even finish my last one (>_<)/ Anyways here are two of them and the design for the back of the shirt...simple so ink isn't wasted :/
