Exo XOXO.•´¸.•*´¨) ¸.•*¨

Nihao /// (>v<)/// Huhu~ Sorry this post came earlier than it should've been, it was suppose to be with all the other Kpop/fangirling stuff, but instead here it is~ EXO~ Mwha x3
Sadly out of my friends who are into Kpop, there's actually not many of them who are into the "new groups" ...reasons being: there's too many of them, they look too young (despite the fact that they are older than us), and etc. so limited squeaking for me :P So EXO~ Their new album XOXO was released just a couple of months ago :D The songs are pretty good; Miki likes \(^-^) but my first impression of their lead song "Wolf" was actually um well...(0_0;)...(=A=)...(>w<) <---a combination of mixed reactions xD

(extra space ^-^).•´¸.•*´¨) ¸.•*¨.•´¸.•*´¨) ¸.•*¨

(extra space >v<).•´¸.•*´¨) ¸.•*¨.•´¸.•*´¨) ¸.•*¨

(extra space 6_6).•´¸.•*´¨) ¸.•*¨.•´¸.•*´¨) ¸.•*¨
It was definitely "unique" but it didn't catch on until later kinda... It's like I like it, but at the same time I don't really like it, but then after hearing it so many times during their promotion it became really catchy so now it's a "completely like" thing xD ...and yush there are many "but's" in this relationship with "Wolf" :P Here's the music video...
Korean version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gAal8xHfV0c
Chinese Version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dVvdVpPIok

Now the main reason why this post came early was actually because of their new song "Growl" that came out yesterday, woot~ \(^O^)/ I saw the teaser before and I was like, "I want this!!!" ~~~

I'm actually quite satisfied with this music video :3 Mm...well, yeah it wasn't like normal Kpop music videos where there's a story and dance...this one is just dance, but the filming was pretty awesome cause it was a one-shot video and the song itself is just one of those that get you all jumpy inside xD Anyways~ I'm really glad that in this music video Lay actually got a decent amount of screen-time :) compared to "Wolf", where he just flashed on and off for a couple of seconds and barely shows up again, this MV actually focuses on him~ so happy-ah (TT^TT) Bad news is that I heard he might've gotten hurt again :'( To be honest he always seems to injure himself one way or another; as a fan I feel like his motivation to improve himself and the efforts he puts in to become better, is very inspiring/definitely praiseworthy, but it's just sad seeing his health go down-hill D: It makes people who support him worry a lot...sigh* ...Hopefully Lay gets better (>_<") and EXO Hwaiting~! Jiayou~! This little fangirl will always be cheering for you all~ (and subsequently getting Mika into the fangirling as well) xD
Korean Version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3dezFzsNss
Chinese Version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6AAKi1OLZzQ

The other thing that I was fangirling over is drama version of "Wolf" oh saranghaeyo~ (>///<) aha sorry for being such a dork xP But Luhan is the main lead in this story <3 Never need to worry about him when it comes to screen-time :P After I finished, it said "to be continued..." so I realized that now I must wait (-___-") It's not easy being a fan...you have to be patient as hell :'( In the mean time, these song shall be the background music of my daily life :3
Korean Version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HzBrO26Xd14
Chinese Version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZnYOJaQtwuc

And now just a little extra couple that I'm shipping x3 LayHan (^-^)/

The bromance is too strong to resist \(>v<)/ To say it doesn't exist would be a lie :P

Okay back to reality, fangirling is over....for now :P

Miki's Update # 2.•´¸.•*´¨) ¸.•*¨

Augh...yeah this is like a month overdue /(>_<)\ I'm sorry for being such a bad child :'(

Well this post is going to be generally centered around the Seniors :) They grow up so fast, it feels like it was just yesterday when they were still sophomores, there is no doubt that time really does fly by \(>w<)/

Guess I'll just start off with physics :) It's a Juniors and Seniors class so sometimes it's a bit chaotic...actually who am I kidding it's always a mess in there xP But our teacher did a good job dealing with our class and his comebacks are just hilarious x3 Imagine getting owned by your teacher who's old enough to be your grandpa xD I think some people even had a section written in their physics notebook just for our teacher's witty remarks \(>v<) It's these simple things that always make life more enjoyable you know :) Really going to miss that class a lot (TT^TT) The people, the memories, the laughs, the sufferings, together they make the class all the more special and one the best classes I've had in high school :') Towards the end of the school year, everyone just came to visit and we didn't really do much except take pictures to pile on the memories :P
She's not even in our class xP
If you must ask, then the answer is "yes, yes that is a shoe..."

Next up is PROM~! Aaaaahhh~ All the seniors are all dressed up and they look sooooooo pretty \(*O*)\ A group of us just went to pre-prom and took a bunch of random pictures there with them xD They were like the idols, and we were the crazy-fan-girls (+ a couple of fan-boys) who chased after them ahaha x3 Can't wait for it to happen next year, but at the same time it seems like such a hassle seeing them (along with Mika) worrying about this and that and everything! The dress, the make-up, and the hair or what-not \(>_<)/ Mika~ Miku~ Save your poor usagi-chan next year cause she has no clue what she's going to do and she's going to need all the the help she can get D':

(extra space ^-^).•´¸.•*´¨) ¸.•*¨.•´¸.•*´¨) ¸.•*¨

(extra space 6_6).•´¸.•*´¨) ¸.•*¨.•´¸.•*´¨) ¸.•*¨

Well soon after prom, came my birthday...It still feels weird that I'm 17 now...and a senior next year? (O_o)/ This is all happening too fast-aaaaahhh~ We're getting OLD CHILDREN, OLD~~~!!! Next thing you know we're going to be old grannies sitting in the front porch looking out at the sunset (0_0;) ...Okay maybe exaggerating a little, but it's just weird thinking back on how much has changed since we've met in elementary school :/ The technology, how younger kids act nowadays...honestly the fact that that is being said proves that we really are becoming adults/reaching the legal age (x_x).

But finally we reach "graduation"...yeah sorry no tears were actually shed :P I feel like that's more of a "later thing" when you're finally off to college and suffering/dying from the exams/papers/etc. then you start to really miss your friends and the times you've spent in high school (good or bad)... I know my tears will definitely fall when that time comes, but for now we wait...(=___=")...wait in our puddles of tears until we are finally done worrying about getting into college, and then we enjoy life to the max and fall into the hands of senioritis <---There's no doubt this thing exists x3

Aaahh~ So proud of them, yet so jealous at the same time that they're done with high school \(>w<) We're up next so work hard until then, but don't over-do it and stress yourselves out too much :3 Side note to the child who does this all the time, you know who you are, Miki (& Miku) will be watching you, so take better care of yourself sometimes okay? :P

To be continued...
soon...eventually...

missed my stop

Hello hello my lovelies~! Today, something really terrifying happened D: I MISSED MY BUS STOP!!!!!!! I was coming home from work and I fell asleep on the bus Q-Q When I woke up, we had already passed my bus stop! So I got off at the next stop, which was thankfully close to my house and still in my town >O<" But I was so scared and when I got off the bus, I almost cried. I called my mom to come pick me up, but I was so scared that I ended up yelling at her and my sister to hurry up and such. le sigh~ i need to learn to control my temper...but you know how people say that when something good happens, something bad always follows? I honestly believe that is true now. Because yesterday, I had my EMT class test WHICH WAS SO HARD OHMYGOD! But I passed. Funny story, actually. I got a 69 which is 1 point below passing, but the instructors marked a question that I got right wrong, so I got one point back and therefore passed the test! :D I know it's not an awesome grade, but it's a pass, and I'll take it! ^O^ Then another good thing happened this morning! I saw my friend on the bus and we sat and we talked more than usual to each other and it was great! He told me about his night and why he was so tired this morning. Pfft~ And then at work, my data was so perfect and I was super prepared and I knew exactly what to do and the professor even trusted me to work by myself in the lab and he left early! AND I GOT TO COME HOME EARLIER THAN USUAL~! It was awesome. But then I missed my stop....BUT WHATEVER. All in all it was a pretty good day I think.

back to the lab

dr. mika in her lab coat in her office
don't i look so official?! :3
Hello hello~! How are you all? I've been doing well...ish. ^^;; still very very tired >O< Last week, I was volunteering at my high school as a camp counselor for middle school kids who wanted to learn science at the science camp that my school has over the summer. It was actually really fun and the kids were really smart; they were smarter than I had expected. *O* I wish I were that smart in middle school...le sigh~ anyways, that's what I was doing all week last week. This week I'm back at the lab at UMDNJ. wheeee~! I'm actually quite excited and happy to be back ^^ who knew? :D I'm officially starting my research project today and am super excited!!!!! I can't tell you the details of the project yet, but when it becomes published I'll tell you all about it :3 but for now, it's confidential research~ I've also been studying for my EMT class like crazy. I failed the last test and I had to re-test and I passed then, but still. it was cutting it quite close. I have another test today and I am scared out of my mind. I don't want to fail again. BUT I DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO STUDY AT ALL THIS WEEKEND. ohmygod, i'm so screwed. I'm just gonna flip through the book while i'm working today and hopefully i'll glean enough information to help me pass the test ;A; save mehh~!!!! /sniffle anyways....oh! I've been listening to more music and I've found some songs that I really love listening to. I know we don't all have the same tastes in music because Miku really likes music like Alesana and We The Kings and Neon Trees and Miki really likes music like K-pop and J-pop and Mandopop and just asian music in general ^^;; But I'll post the videos below and hopefully you guys will listen to some ^O^

Miki's Update # 1.•´¸.•*´¨) ¸.•*¨

Nihao /// Hey guys I'm so sorry for not updating anything on this blog lately, but as you all know already, Miki's computer finally decided to crash, sigh* so yeah, all my data (pictures, documents, music, etc.) were still stuck in there until recently, I finally got them back and transferred to my new computer~! Yay \(^O^)/ Now I just have to work on organizing all the stuff cause everything's still kind of messy (-___-") Here's a picture of it with a panda-full reflection on it xD Well that's it for now until this child slowly gets to the other long overdue stuff that happened in June aha \(>w<)

it's summer again

Hey guys~! Can you believe it? One year has already passed, and we're done with junior year. I'm honestly quite scared for senior year. I'm getting anxiety attacks from just thinking about it. But I'm also super excited for senior year! We're almost done with high school!! Isn't that amazing?! I have so much I want to talk about but I don't know where to begin D: OH-KAY. LET'S SEE...hm. I guess I'll start with what I've been doing for this past month. I've been taking my EMT class and I've been interning at UMDNJ (5 days a week ;A;). My EMT class is going okay, I failed a test, but I passed the re-test. Everything seems to be going smoothly. As for my internship, that too is going smoothly. If all goes well, I'll be a co-author for a paper that may be published in a scientific journal. >O< very very excited about that. I haven't been able to go out with my friends very often, or leave the house at all really because Monday to Friday I'm not at home until 10:00, and the earliest I get home (thursdays and fridays) is 5:00 or 6:00. Very very tired. But Saturdays, I'm free after 2:00 and Sundays are my rest days when I have nothing to do. I really love Sundays now. But I am having fun with all of my activities~! Although I wish I could hang out with friends more. Which is why one of my goals for senior year is to hang out with friends more~! :D I'm really hoping that it's okay for me to join Miki's high school's K-pop Dance Club because I'd really like to do it >O< Next week, I will be volunteering at my high school (for leadership hours) because we have this thing called Biotech Boot Camp where we teach the incoming freshmen some things that they will be using and learning as freshmen. It's actually quite fun, I've heard so I am very excited for this. Also, I'll get to hang out with my biology teacher, who I really admire. I have finish writing my senior thesis as well since those are due at the beginning of October and I'm also starting to write my college essays. le sigh~ so much work. But I really hope that all of my hard work pays off in the end. I'm retaking my SAT II Math 2 in October so I'm starting to study for that as well.
Moving on from academics to personal stuff. I've been taking better care of my skin lately. I wash my face every 4 to 6 hours, which may seem excessive, but my face produces A LOT of oil, and it's better for me to wash away the oil than to let it sit on my face all day until night time. I think my skin is getting better, but who knows. Some of the pimples seem to have diminished and my face feels smoother than before. I hope I don't jinx it, so I am knocking on wood >O< I've been liking my new facial wash, but I don't use a lotion or moisturizer and all the ones I've tried have made me break out so now my face is really dry. *UPDATE* I'm gonna try using just aloe vera as a moisturizer and see how that works out. But even still, do you guys have any advice/suggestions for me? Also with my hair, I've finally found a hairstyle I really love. And thanks to my hair extensions, I can make the illusion of longer hair~!!! As seen in my photo that I posted, that is the hairstyle that I will be sporting for senior year everyday. I know it seems like a lot of work with all the curls and all, but really, it doesn't take very long, maybe fifteen minutes maximum which is fine because I can take showers at night and then style my hair in the morning. What do you guys think of my hair? yay or nay. Also, I really love my makeup because it hides all my acne and imperfections, but I will be abstaining from that. I've found that the foundation clogs my pores and causes pimples, and I'd rather not deal with that. I'd much rather take good care of my skin and get rid of the pimples than try to cover it up with makeup. Of course I'll still wear eye makeup, but not on a daily basis I think because it'll wash off when I wash my face throughout the day and just look like a hot mess. I'm actually not wearing any makeup in the photo, so you can kind of see my bare face. I did of course put a filter on the photo, so it does sort of blur my scars and pimples, but not by much.
Moving on to leisure and what I've been doing with my free time, I've been reading two books (one of them is my summer reading, and the other is for pleasure). The book I'm reading for fun is called The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera (Czech). It's quite....deep? I'm not sure how to describe it. I'm not even halfway done with it yet, but I am enjoying it very much. It's not a very happy read, really. It's more emotional and it makes you think about what you would do with your one life. It's a very "you only live once...or do you?" type of book. And it's centered around a complicated relationship between a man and woman. I'd highly recommend it if you enjoy those kinds of books. I've been reading it on the bus ride to and from Newark. The other book is called Incognito: the secret lives of the brain by David Eagleman. IT IS AMAZING. it's a very scientific/philosophical/psychological book, but it is so good! I really can't describe it, you would have to read it. ^O^ Besides books, as you know, I've been practicing my flute. I'm slowly learning a variety of songs and I am really enjoying it. You guys will probably think I'm very crazy/materialistic when I tell you this, BUT....I bought a new flute. It's Gemeinhardt and was very expensive, but it plays beautifully. I think I made a logical decision when I bought it though. My old flute by Edwards was broken, legitimately broken. Half the notes didn't play, the pads were wearing thin, air was leaking when I blew through the embouchure. It was just old and in terrible condition. And I really wanted to continue playing flute because it is my favorite instrument out of all the ones I know how to play. So I talked with my dad and mom, and they bought one for me (with my own money of course. they just ordered in online for me). Anyways, I am very pleased with my new flute. ^^
I think that's all for now, this is a ridiculously long post.

carnivals & roller coasters

hey guys~! so today i went to the saint ambrose carnival with miki and some of her friends. it was a lot of fun! *^O^* i had a lot of fun, although, i might have made it less fun for other people ^^;; i'm actually really really really scared of heights, and loud noises scare me, and going really fast in anything scares me, and sometimes i get motion sickness...yea. so we can all predict what happened. yes. this kitsune cried and screamed on every single ride. literally. not even joking. but even though the rides were scary, afterwards, when we got off, i realized that it was actually a lot of fun ^^;; yup. i'm also really addicted to boardwalk/carnival games. you know? like the ones where you have to throw stuff and knock things over and such :3 miki was like "jenniferrrr!!! NO MORE!" because i actually wasted a lot of money on those games ^^;; eheh~ whoops. but thats okay! I HAD A LOT OF FUN!

emergency medical technician

hey guys~! so i know i already made a post earlier today, but i thought i'd write a more substantial one since i have time now. earlier today i went out for lunch with one of my friends. nom nom nom. i had a calzone at this wonderful italian place, but it was MASSIVE. i do not kid you. that thing was larger than my forearm and wider than my face. WHAT THE FUCK ARE THEY DOING AT THAT RESTAURANT?!!! AND TO TOP IT OFF, IT WAS DELICIOUS! but i couldn't eat it all by myself, so my friend help finish off half of it. puahahaha~! *O* anyways, getting onto what my summer is planned out as, i'm taking an EMT class to become a state certified EMT :D i can save people's lives now!!!! ....well, not NOW, but soon ^^ the class is super intensive and we have like a million tests and practicals and the instructors are just grade A assholes. but thankfully, there are only five tests left, and i think four more practicals. phewww~ i've been doing pretty good on the tests so far; i haven't failed any, though i did come close once. but i think i'm okay as long as i read the chapters and do the workbooks. the instructors are assholes though, and i know that they are purposely acting like that so that the class really understands and memorizes ALL the material, but sometimes it is so tiring. and they make you feel really stupid if you don't know an answer and they yell suddenly and it is quite frightening. but you know what, it makes the class much more entertaining, so i don't really mind toooooo much.....but it's still pretty scary.
oh, and this summer, i have an internship at UMDNJ in the biochemistry department. OH! so this sort cute/attractive guy from my EMT class goes to NJIT and does research there. and NJIT and UMDNJ are both in Newark, so he offered to take the bus with me in the morning and afternoon and drive me to EMT classes on mondays and wednesdays >///< i'm so excited!
besides, EMT classes and researching though, i'm gonna play tennis on tuesdays and thursdays and then maybe on the weekends, if miki is free, i can go to the YMCA with her ^O^
yea, i plan on trying to diet...again (this is like the seventh time). but yea, i realized how unhealthy i am and i weigh a total of 150 pounds now...that is really bad especially someone of my height. so i made a bet with my mom that if i lose 30 pounds this summer, that she'll let me get eyelid surgery next summer. i'm gonna do it guys! i can do it!
anyways, that's all for now ^O^

Long Overdue Updates (Q ~ Q)

This is seriously long overdue.
Well, I have been out of school since the middle of May.
And I have either been busy doing stuff (I actually have a life this summer)
Or this gorgeous person is taking up my time

You know, along with other YouTubers... but him... e A e <3
That is a sexy parasite.
By the way, this is Danisnotonfire. He is British. And he is beautiful *crai*

And then there is him. The Doctor. Ooh, sounds mysterious e v e
Oh Matt Smith

Well, besides my obsessions (Matt Smith, gah, he is so adorable e A e), I have mostly been hanging out with some of my friends that I met at Youth Group (best Youth Group ever in my eyes), went swimming, played paintball, started crushing on someone new, YouTube, and got a futher muckin' dog e v e

I will say it again
WE GOT A DOG
FINALLY Q V Q
That is her right there -->
Her name is Bambi (we did NOT name her, for the longest time my dad called her Killer)
Normally we call her Bambino, or Bino, or Bambers. We have a lot of nicknames for her.
Anyway, she is a Chihuahua Collie mix, or as we call her, a Coluahuahua (co-looa-hooa-hooa)<-- the pronunciation is just awesome.

The one thing that has been the most fun so far this summer has to be paintball.
I have played twice this summer so far, and it was awesome.
There are some people in our youth group that normally organizes the events (they call it Holy Paintball). It's not a youth group thing, it's just a few guys putting it all together. We start off with woodsball, which is paintball in the forest, then on to speedball in the evening at our pastors farm (his son is one of the ones that organizes it), then a bonfire at night. We did mix it up one day, doing speedball in the morning and then on to woodball at night. We used flashlights to find our way through. Not the smartest thing that they have done. The flashlight only lets you see about 20 ft. in front of you while EVERYONE can see where you are at. That night I got about 5 or 6 welts that I still have by the way.

All in all, my summer has been pretty good. Ended off the school year with good grades and have already planned out my senior year.
Got a 25 on my ACT and I am planning on retaking it.
My friend was hoping I got a lower score than her.... e v e teehee

Anyway, I've got more going on this summer, going swimming tomorrow with quite a few friends and etc. So, yeah.
I'll try and tell you guys ALL about it.. if I can
I also need to post about prom.. > v >

Now, to leave you with a picture of me with my tongue out ~(> O <)~

good-bye to another year of high school

Hey guys! So it's been a while since anyone has posted anything on this blog. Well, allow me to revive this blog :3 JUNIOR YEAR IS FINALLY OVER! OH MY GOD! I honestly cannot believe it. Junior year was filled with so much hardship and pain, but it was also filled with so much fun! Do you guys remember our list of goals for junior year that we made last summer and put on this blog? I just finished checking off two more items on that list. So I can happily say that junior year was successful~! *^O^* I hope that your junior years were as equally as satisfying as mine was!

International Night.•´¸.•*´¨) ¸.•*¨

Nihao \(>_6) First off, Battle of the Classes on Thursday was pretty good...we got to miss period 11 and 12... The game was pretty intense as usual like every year, and as expected the Seniors won (>_o)/ Yeah it's pretty obvious at this point that Seniors must win cause if not, well idk :/ They showed our school's lip-dub too, and it was decent, could've been better if more people showed up for it on Sunday :P At night during "Knight of the Champions" they finished the games, it was also a lock-in so you weren't allowed to leave until 9p.m. at night (o_o") I was about to go, but then eh...most of my friends that going were Seniors and idk i just wasn't sure about going...probably should've just to experience it once before high school is over, maybe I'll go next year? :3 Physics test on Friday was a total bomb...like worse than usual, with the other tests I know at least where to get start, but for this one um, let's say even our smartest child Kendra told the teacher not to expect anything \(>_<) As bad as it sounds, I honestly feel like it's "the more you suffer together, the closer you get together"

Now finally getting to the main point, yesterday was "International Night" and the PTA organized it for Grissom Elementary School mwha~ Miki went to teach the little children along with some other Chinese Honor Society members :) our CHS President finally decided to show up too, he originally wasn't planning on going, but our Chinese teacher kept pushing him and you know (-___-")/ whatever he came and did something so good enough (=w=) We ate and talked after that, and Miki decided to explore the school again cause you know it's been a long time, like what six years since I've last step foot in that school xP I took some pictures to show you guys too \(^_^) It's a lot smaller than I remember, and yeah we were a lot smaller then too, but it's just like wow (o_O) Not much actually changed except there's more paintings on the walls, and they repainted the outside too, and yeah :3 Enjoy the pictures :)

Asian Pacific Club Performance.•´¸.•*´¨) ¸.•*¨

Nihao Everyone~! This is a bit late as usual...ahaha (>_6)/ The Asian Pacific Club Show was two weeks ago on Wednesday April 10th, and it was great :) We practiced all those days just for it, and yeah we had some problems here and there but oh well, sorry guys \(^_^") I had to miss a whole week and a half of track, because we had to stay after for consecutive practices and rehearsals, but I had a lot of fun those day (^-^) Probably made some mistakes during the show, but surprisingly this year I could care less...last year and freshman year I was nervous as hell, but maybe it was because I was only in one act...this year even if I messed up I can still redeem myself you know? That plus there were a lot of people in kpop, so honestly people won't even remember who is who xP There weren't as many people that came this year compared to last year, which was most likely due to the fact that this year it was on a Wednesday...splat right in the middle of the week, way to go~ Le sigh* And yes Mika like you said, there weren't as many cute guys xP
Kpop Group Picture \(>v<)/ (Missing A Few Though)

Twin Day~
The following Sunday Miki went to play tennis with some friends~ Won my match against a friend while playing singles woot~! We were also talking about Kpop and the Fan/Ribbon performance for next year...definitely getting stuff started right after the AP exams or maybe after the finals \(>_<) I have to get Exo's dance for "History" down and perfected! ...At least I'm hoping to do so this summer x3 Mika you should join me and we should learn together :D That and we have to pick a few Chinese or Japanese songs for the Fan/Ribbon traditional dance (^_^) Please feel free to send in some recommendations :) ...Our "offiicial" name has been the "Porcelain Dolls" since my Freshman year when we first started it, because the song we danced to was "Blue and White Porcelain" by Jay Chou xP Now we just have to keep up this act for the years to come :3 Really excited for next year~ Gonna get my college applications done, gonna start fresh for the new school year, gonna work my butt off for the APC show, gonna run winter track, but probably not spring :') ...will be missing my fellow track buddies, but it's senior year for crying you loud you know xD

Now back to the present time, tomorrow is "Battle Of The Classes" and I will be helping out with face painting along with the rest of the Art Honor Society members :) Watch me scribble and mess up on everyone's faces huhu~ just kidding that would be too mean :3 This week has been a little off track since half the people are gone for the AP mock exams, BOTC practices, etc. so classes weren't really classes epsecially Physics...even though we have another test this Friday :'(
Posing next to the "Sleeping Beauty"
My friend fell asleep during Physics xD

i can't deal with this

UGH! I JUST NEED TO RANT! I can't deal with my parents anymore! It's so ridiculous. Like I know they're just trying to push me because they feel like I'm not using my full potential, but it's just not going to happen. I know my limits and what I'm doing now is all that I can do! If I tried any more I think I might break down and just never be able to recover. I mean, this week has been hard enough already with all the stupid tests and quizzes! Like yesterday was my math final and I totally failed that because I literally left half of the test blank (I'm not even exaggerating, I'm being totally serious). I had no idea what the FUCK was going on!!! The test was nothing like the practice that the teacher gave us and UGHHHH!!!!! AND ITS OUR FINAL TOO!!!! LIKE WHAT THE FUCK?! And then I also had a biology test yesterday right after the math final. Totally bombed that too because I was too overwhelmed after that math final. And then today I had an anatomy test....AND IT WAS SO MUCH HARDER THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE!!! Are you kidding me? Like it's the end of the marking period and this is when all the teachers decide to give out the fucking impossibly hard tests...what the fuck. And then there was a pop quiz in chemistry and, mind you not, we have not learned ANYTHING in chemistry because she gave us the entire period for the last two classes to work on a lab report...LIKE WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU WANT US TO REMEMBER FROM LIKE TWO WEEKS AGO?!! I can't deal with this. Anyways, back to the whole deal with my parents. So I tell them I am a National Merit Scholarship Nominee and they go "Oh, you should've done better. If you had studied more like we told you to, you might have been  a finalist." = - = I'm going to punch them. And then they're like "you should study more, and do more extracurriculars, and take more SAT subject tests, and maybe you should take the SAT again since your score sucks, or maybe you could take the ACT, you might not suck in that. Oh but you'll have to study of course." WHERE THE FUCK AM I GOING TO FIND TIME FOR ALL THAT?! My parents are so fucking greedy and they just can't be happy with how I'm doing right now because they want more out of me.

♥ ─── updates ──── ♥

Hai-hai, my wonderful wildflowers~!! It's been so long since I made my last post...actually. It's been a while since any of us have made a post. We should get back on track!! >O< So let me just update you guys on what's going on with my life. (1) My internship is going well. I really enjoy interning at UMDNJ! All the grad students are nice, and the professor is nice, and I'm learning a lot of new things. But all good things must come to an end, so since this internship ends in June, I have another interview today for another internship. So tired~ (2) PROM~!!!! Yes, yes. Prom is coming up. Mine is on May 17th and it's at the Branches in West Long Branch, NJ. I had originally planned on not going to prom, but circumstances came about, and I will be attending prom. I didn't really want to go, but my friends all said they were going and I was thinking about it and I didn't want to regret not going, so I just decided to go. And  YES, I do have a prom date. He's a sophomore from my school. We're close friends, so we're just going as friends, nothing more. He has a girlfriend, anyways. I had originally asked a guy that I'm close with, but he's in college and finals are the week of prom for him, so he couldn't make it. Then the second guy was a guy from my home high school, Manalapan. I asked him to prom, and he said yes, but it turns out that he is going on vacation with his family that week, so he cancelled on me as well. Finally, I asked the sophomore from my school, and although he has a girlfriend, he said yes. So all is well. *^O^* I will post the details of my dress and date and pictures and such in the coming weeks. (3) I apologize if I haven't been communicating with you guys lately. I've been really pissy and cranky all month. Why? I have no clue. I suspect it is because my period is late, and I just got it two days ago so now I'm even more moody. I'll try not to take out my frustrations on you guys. (4) Speaking of frustrations, school the biggest frustration of all. Along with SAT IIs. UGH. I can't even deal with all this shit. I have a biology test and a math final tomorrow. And then I have an anatomy test on Wednesday, and then I have a math paper due on Thursday, and all the while, I have to prepare for SAT IIs in Math Level 2 and Biology. I'm so screwed, it's not even funny. I can't deal with all this stress and it's really taking a toll on me. And then I had planned on studying for my math final this weekend, but on Friday, this idiot took my textbook to use as a prop for the projector...AND THEN HE FORGOT THAT HE LEFT IT THERE! WHAT THE FUCK?!!!! So I was literally near tears on Friday frantically searching for my textbook, and I could not for the life of me find it. I went home really anxious and stressed and it was not fun. Fucking idiot. I wanted to rant with you guys about it, but you guys were busy or not online, so I couldn't ;A;  (5) Miki, your APC show was really fun and amazing! A lot of the singers kind of sucked (sorry >.<) but the dances were so awesome~! ..and with that, that brings us up to date. Write you guys next time~!

◇ ─── JSSF Competition 2013 ─── ◇

Hai-hai, my lovely peas~! So last Saturday was the day of the Jersey Shore Science Fair Competition 2013~! Otherwise known as JSSF! I actually hadn't finished my experimentation until the Tuesday before that weekend, and then I was busy on Wednesday and Thursday, so I had to finish my entire tri-board on Saturday night. Needless to say, I did not go to bed until 3 in the morning. Therefore, I missed the bus at 6:45 AM and so my parents had to drive me all the way down to Richard Stockton College where JSSF was being held. I got there at 9:15 and judging had already started. THANK GOD, I got there in the nick of time and was just in time for my judging. I'm not the strongest public speaker so my presentation was horrible, but I did manage to get the key points of my research in. My research was on the effect of fertilizer on the respiratory rate of peas. It wasn't anything substantial, but it was research that could have a big impact on world hunger because if you figure out the optimal concentration of fertilizer with which to grow crops, then we can assume that there would be a greater output of crops which would really help third-world countries like Africa since they do not have the abundance of crops that we do in America. Well, I guess my project didn't really impress the judges too much. I didn't win, nor did I get an honorable mention. le sigh~! Always next year, although this year was the most important since colleges won't care if I win next year because my applications will already be sent in. Oh well~ I have other competitions to worry about anyways like TSA in April!!! I NEED TO GET TO WORK ON THAT! I'll make another post soon! Probably a vlog!

did not win Q-Q
my tri-fold~! Isn't it beautiful?!
I did this in the span of 5:00 pm to 3:00 am.
If there were an award for most awesome tri-fold,
I'd probably get it :3 I'm just saying.
But seriously, I put a lot of work into this. Q-Q

Track and PR.•´¸.•*´¨) ¸.•*¨

Hai Hai Everyone \(>v<) So as of now Miki's been keeping track of her of times for track meets and other races, time trials, etc. On Wednesday we ran our 300 meter time trial and Miki broke her personal record by a little over a second \(^O^) Since I do sprint, every second counts...a lot (>A<) Which is why this usagi was really happy and content with her time x3 I know I'm not fast fast like the top girls, but still I'm at a decent place :) The coaches posted the chart yesterday with our times in order from fastest to slowest, and guess what? Miki ranked 17 out of the 65 girls who actually ran (some of them went in the locker room and never came back out just to avoid the time trial -___-") Anyways this is just for the 300 meter, and there's a lot of girls who do faster on the 200 meter run, but Miki will work hard and attempt to make it to every practice to keep up the pace \(=w=) On the downside, there's a stupid commitment chart now...everyone has to check in on the paper everyday and those who are not "active" might get kicked off the team (x_x)
I'll be more motivated if this was real x3

Happy Camp.•´¸.•*´¨) ¸.•*¨

Nihao \(>v<)/ So as I've mentioned before "Happy Camp" is a Chinese variety show that's quite popular in China :) The hosts are so funny and adorable (>3<) To me, they are entertainers who truly enjoy and take part in their job to bring happiness and smiles to others (^-^)/ I know I always find myself laughing whenever I watch the show x3 Miki became a EXO fan too because they were featured on "Happy Camp" :D Huhu~ So yeah the episodes of this show features stars from all over Asia whether it's China, Korea, Japan, Thai, etc. To go down the list would take hours so I'm just going to post some pictures of guests from South Korea :) This was also the thing Miki was "Kyaa-ing" about in the chatbox...MissA members were in one of the recent episode <3 Oh so basically fans get to see their idol and the rest the audience gets to know them too...The guest(s) sometimes sit and interact with the hosts, play game, perform their songs/dances, etc. (plus a cool science experiment segment towards the end) Lots of fun and joy for everyone, I guarantee it :) ...There's a picture of the hosts on the bottom, the third one from the left is a former host...They always wear matching outfits too x3

Guests In Picture Order
Kim Hyun Joong, Jang Geun Suk, Exo, F(x), MissA, (Han Geng) Super Junior-M
...(and some others that I forgot)

♪─── hai-hai, long time no see ────♪

Hai-hai, minna~!! There's so much I want to say! It's been so long since my last blogpost. I wish I could find more time to write blogposts. It's really fun, like a diary that I get to share with you guys. Anyways, first things first, I'm actually writing this while I'm on duty at the first aid squad in Marlboro. Yes yes! Mika is now officially a first aid cadet going around and saving lives!!! Sort of...I just get to help the adults if we get a call. It's my first day on the job today and my shift is from six to nine o clock~! Oh so busy >O< I really think I've bitten off more than I can chew this year with all my activities but I am determined to stick it through and get everything done. Although, I don't know if I'll be able to handle it mentally. As Miki already knows, I've had quite a few breakdowns recently because I'm so busy. I'm just so tired and it feels like I never get any rest, but I guess that's my fault. (And plus, I get a lot of sleep since I nap all the time for very long periods at a time) ughhhh~!!! I need to stop complaining whenever I write blogposts!! Why do I do that all the time? HWAT IS WRONG WITH MEHHH?!!!! Well, I'll stop complaining at the end of June when school ends and I'm free from the prison that is high school...and then I'll have to start again next year. Le sigh~ but seriously...only four more months of school. I'm kind of excited ^O^ March and April will be the worst months because there are so many competitions to prepare for and then May will be bad because my IB exams are on the 9th, 10th, and 16th. And then June of course is finals month so everyone is dying.
On another note, because it is HSPA week I've had little to no homework. The math portion was so ridiculously easy. My friend and I were like giving each other looks that said "Are these people serious? Who doesn't know this?" Especially because the reference sheet they give you literally has everything you would want to know for this test...it's like cheating almost. Anyways, I've had a lot of free time so I've been playing Eden Eternal A LOT. I made a new character "KitsuneJenni" and made her a thief class. I'm going to try to max out the thief class stats and become awesome~!! Pfft. I've also been playing this Nintendo3DS game called "Fire Emblem." My friend, Sean let me borrow his 3DS and the game because I wanted to play, so he was like "You can just borrow it during HSPA week since we don't have a lot of work." He's super awesome!!! The game is pretty interesting and there are some cute and funny scenes between the main character and my character. It's essentially a non-MMO RPG.
I've also been watching A LOT of anime. I've re-watched Lucky Star...TWICE! And then I started watching two new ones. Miki actually got me hooked on one called "Mondaiji-tachi ga...something or other" and it super fun! I currently love it a lot! Iyazoi is my favorite along with the short red-orange haired girl. SO ADORABLE!!! I also started watching one called "Tamako Market" because two of my school friends Deeya an Kathy got me hooked! I also really love it! You guys should try it. It'll make you laugh so much! Deeya and Kathy are super adorable and if you two ever met them, I'm sure you'd like them too. We're going to have a mochi party because we can~!! *^O^*
Last topic! EXERCISE! Yes, my friends! I have officially started exercising...sort of. My mom drives me to school in the morning but when I come home, I go on the bus. The bus drops me off at the front of my development which is about a mile away from my house so I walk a mile everyday of the week except weekends and Thursday. I wish that the distance was more, but what can I do? Maybe I'll walk home, back to the front of the development, and back home again for a total of three and a half miles, I'd get home at like four o clock...what do you guys think? Think the exercise is worth getting home an hour late? peh. On the weekends I play tennis and every day I try to hula hoop for about ten minutes or so. I've also cut down on the amount of food that I eat. Hopefully I'll be able to lose some weight before May because that's when my cousin's wedding is.
Well, that's all for now really. Talk to you guys again soon~!!

She Said Yes.•´¸.•*´¨) ¸.•*¨

Oh Laura trying to keep in her smile \(>_6)
Mwha~ Nihao everyone~ (>w<)/ So I actually wrote this on March 1st, but I never posted it so yeah...everything that says "today" actually refers to last Friday~ To start off, remember how I said someone was going to ask my friend Kendra to prom? Well it finally happened today <3 It was afterschool during Kpop and originally (M) was suppose to practice/show us today what he's got down so far for the intro to Genie...but obviously that didn't happen. He's technically taking IU's role in Dream High by playing the opening for Genie on his guitar before the Genie girls come out to perform for Kpop :3 So (M) actually did start out by playing Genie on his guitar, but then it turned into an intro to "Will you go to prom with me?" type of song xD Anyways going back to the song itself, (M) actually got interrupted twice; once by an announcement, and a second time by a teacher who suddenly walked out from the door right next to him...le facepalm* heheh~ so yeah to be honest it was pretty funny, but hey this light and happy feeling suits them better you know :) The song wasn't anything serious, but it was simple, sweet, and cute~ He gave her a bundle of roses and she hugged him which mean yes, but she kind of forgot to say yes until one of us mentioned it to her haha xD Basically everyone knew about it and so did Kendra, but she didn't actually know what he was going to do...still everyone came to watch even if they weren't even in Kpop, it was just a moment everyone had to witness huhu~ Here's the video of what happened that day if you want to watch :) But I'll probably take it off once you two see it...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QqoqkTVpAmc
As for Nu Abo and the results of our mediocre practices...well here it is...
1st practice= First half of the song (>v<)
2nd practice= Second half of the song (^-^)
3rd practice= I didn't go cause I left school early that day...not that I actually missed anything... (=A=)
4th practice= Briefly went over the positions (6_6)
5th practice= Touched up on some stuff that I'm still working on (x_x)...we only went over the song once together today (T___T) The five of us are getting less time to practice each time cause three of our Nu Abo girls also have to practice for the song "Replay" which I feel is more organized despite the fact that they don't have the whole song down yet like us :/ Anyways, Miki took a short video of her attempt x3 Will show you two once we all get on skype/oovoo :)
